Schmetz Embroidery Needles
Schmetz has developed this needle with a special design in the scarf and eye to prevent shredding and breakage common to fine decorative threads. Comes in a convenient assorted 5 needle package, sizes 75 & 90.

 

Spring Embroidery Needles
A must for your free motion embroidery projects! The spring comes with a Schmetz 90/14 needle which you can replace.

 

Schmetz Twin Needles
Try some new effects with this double needle and rayon and metallic threads! Examples: Free-motion embroidery, built-in embroidery stitches, and couching become dramatic when stitched with a twin needle and two colours of thread! One needle per pack; size 80 at 2.00mm.

 

Schmetz Top Stitching Needles
Machine artists have discovered how the "large-eye" of this specialty needle allows for the easy flow of metallic and rayon threads. It is perfect for machine embroidery threads and comes in 4 sizes to adjust to the weight of the fabric. Five needles per pack. Sizes 80, 90, 100 and 110. These are the needles I use for all my machine embroidery. They slip through the fabric magically and easily accommodate the thicker textured threads.

 

Titanium Coated from Superior Threads
These are the first titanium-coated Topstitch style needles made for home machines. Superior Threads (USA) and Organ Needle Company (Japan) have applied the latest technology of titanium-coated needles to the Topstitch style for home machines. These needles have an ultra thin coat of titanium nitride layered on the surface to extend their productive life by five to eight times that of conventional needles. Scissors
Non stick, micro serrated from Tim Holtz. These snips feature extra large Kushgrip handles making them excellent for cutting all types of material including sheet rubber, vinyl and adhesive backed papers. The non-stick coating minimizes adhesive build-up and makes them resistant to rust and corrosion. A plastic cap is included for blade protection and safety.

Amazing Tape
This clear plastic tape clings to itself without adhesive. Excellent for holding threads on spools together - just wrap around, overlap the tape and press it against itself. Has many other uses - will even secure luggage! Easy to use; just stretch it on, smooth it out and press firmly. Available in three widths; 5.0cm, 2.5cm and 1.2cm. 5cm width is just right for rayon thread spools. It is strong, durable, and reusable.

A great little gadget for all sorts of pushing, poking, turning etc. Thread a ribbon through the slot and wear around your neck. A quilter's, seamstress's dream!

Couronne Stick
Hand turned, solid wood, smooth gloss finish. Couronne sticks are usually used in needle lace techniques and Hedebo embroidery. Suggested to us by Jean Draper, this is a wonderful tool to make bold, lacy surfaces for any sculptural work. You can make small delicate rings through to large bold ones.
