Xpandaprint - Puff Paint
Puff paint is an interesting painting and printing medium, which is heat extended, to produce a raised 3-dimensional surface, giving exciting sculptural effects. After expansion, it can be coloured in many ways, especially using everyday materials - no special equipment needed. The finished effect depends upon how the medium is applied. Stipple, stencil, paint, print etc. to achieve a range of exciting surfaces in line, pattern, texture or motif.
It comes in 55ml pots, white or black. Also available is a 'Know-How' guide containing full instuctions for use, and ideas for creative developments. We now have full supplies of black and white.

Form-a-Foam (Softsculpt)
is a thermoplastic foam offering very many exciting posssibilities to the designer/maker, for creating both 3D forms and low relief effects. It is available in 2 thicknesses, in both black and white. The 3mm is suitable for finer work, such as low relief patches/discs etc, and delicate 3D forms while the 6mm is suitable for heavier 3D structures, such as masks, frames, amd stitched patches/plaques with deeper relief. Its main property is its moudability after heating. It is soft and easy to cut into shapes and easy to stitch into by machine and hand before or after moulding.
Available in single sheets, 25cm x 25cm, 6mm or 3mm thick, or as an 'Intropack' - four smaller (25cm x 12.5cm) sheets with full instructions for use, and ideas for creative developments.

Texture Magic

Ezy Carve

Delight
Air dry modelling compound, ready to use from the package. White, soft, lightweight and clean to use. Dries to a firm consistancy 1-3 days after shaping or molding. May be coloured with any kind of paint. Water based paints may be worked into it while soft. Dries to maximum hardness in 1-2 weeks.

Efaplast Modelling Clay
Model Magic replacement. A very light and easily manipulated modelling compound. Ready to use from the pack. no mixing or bending needed. Can be shaped or rolled as well as pushed into molds. Air dried - no baking required. Can easily be painted or varnished. The volume of material in each ½ kg pack is approximately 20cm x 9.5cm x 1.5cm

 

Friendly Plastic
Non toxic and heat moldable. This is an exciting medium when combined with fabric and stitch.
On heating it can be formed into any shape or design. Heat with a heat gun, oven or even hot water in a pan. Can be used to easily make stunning beads.
The plastic has metallic sheen surfaces on black and other backing colours. Comes in 3.8cm wide strips, by 17.80cm (7") long. Many colour themes.

Frescoe Flakes
Matte flakes which simulate paint peelings. Great for creating distressed ageing surfaces. Use straight from the jar - sprinkle onto any clear glue or fusible webbing or trap under a sheer fabric. Can also be applied to wet paint, or even painted on the top. (Jacquard textile paints are fabulous for this.)
